Dave Rollins - Race Director
Dave Rollins is a runner, is passionate about running, married a runner and works just in running. he lives in Farnham and is a full time event manager and sports coach. Current responsibilities include coach to the British Military Pentathlon, instructing Army personnel and orienteering and Team Manager for the GB Orienteering Senior Team. Other recent accomplishments include route planner for Sport Relief challenges for Davina, Jo Brand and Greg James. Dave is also Race Director for the BRUTAL Series and course planner for aat-events.
Colin Dickson - Race Director
Colin Dickson, seven times British Orienteering Champion, lives in Camberley and retired from the Army after 42 years in 2012. He is the senior qualified coach in Army Orienteering and runs all the orienteering skills courses out of Longmoor. He also manages performance coaching courses and BRUTAL training sessions. He is a prolific organiser of events (25 orienteering events in 2012) and is a leading planner in the region. He has competed in road, trail, XC and mountain races, triathlon and duathlon and had won many throughout the years in over 30 countries. You will find Colin spends most of his time in a local wood running or on his mountain bike expending huge amounts of energy, looking for yet another hill. Colin is branching out to plan other types of events in the coming years.
Allan Farrington - Timing & Logistics Director
Allan Farrington founded EMIT-UK in 2000, whilst still in the army which he left after 38 years’ service. Having introduced EMIT electronic timing to the British Army in 1999, he gradually branched out to timing all sorts of races in the next decade and eventually went full time as a professional event timer and has recently added specialist Chronotrack timing as an arm of the company. A keen orienteer, hasher, nordic skier and runner, the last few years have seen him expand into various fields of timing. His Son Simon has also recently joined the expanding team.
As a BRUTAL Race Director Allan takes great pleasure in finding new challenges on the military training areas, especially around the Longmoor area where has has worked for many years.

Dr Sarah Rollins - Mini BRUTAL Assistant
Sarah is a General Practice Doctor based near Farnham and has cut her teeth as a Military GP. As you might have guessed she’s married to Dave. Sarah assists young Tommy Rollins in organising the Mini BRUTAL events!
Toby Jenkins - HQ Communications
Toby established aat-events in 2004 having taken part in numerous events including ironman distance triathlons.
Keen to enable other people to take part in outdoor sporting events, Toby set about creating fun events which athletes of all abilities can take part in. Career highlights include the Surrey Half Marathon and the sell out G3 series.
Hollie Light - Marketing Manager
Hollie, who joined the BRUTAL team in January 2016, is the latest addition to the team. She is responsible for sending you emails and interacting with you on social media, so you’ve probably spoken to her already!
She works with Toby and Becky at aat-events HQ.
