Men Only

BRUTAL runs are seriously tough trail / cross-country races featuring natural obstacles. Everyone is welcome.

The BRUTAL run calendar commences with the annual Women's Only and Men's Only races.

These special races are held at the coldest and wettest time of the year, so you can be assured that the elements will be at their worst for these gruelling BRUTAL runs. Both the Women’s and Men’s races follow the same 5km course - which can be run once (5km) or twice (10km) - starting with ladies first in the morning, and the men in the afternoon. Expect to get seriously wet and muddy as you take on this energy-sapping run through dense forest.

No other BRUTAL run offers men and women the chance to battle it out the BRUTAL courses separately, so do not delay in booking these popular races.

Other information
Water sections are all depth tested. The race course will never go through water deeper than waist height.

5km minimum age = 10 years old on race day.
10km minimum age = 13 years old on race day.

If you are unable to race do not give your entry to another person. There are several reasons for this.1. We need runners to sign our Terms and Conditions. 2. With incorrect emergency contact details we won't be able to inform your family should a medical incident occur. 3. You will make the event's results incorrect and delay everyone receiving their finish times and places.
