Longvalley - Brutal 10
A single lap route has a gentle run out to a steep climb, before heading up and out into the open through a quarry bed, heading for the first cooling marsh, through that and in quick succession its into Alligator Swamp, followed by Swan Lake. Drop down onto the Muddy Mile with two steep climbs then there is a view for many miles. Next heading for the Duck Pond and a wee bit more wet, onto a very steep short hill followed by a fast decent onto another couple of testing hills before heading back to the finish. This is our wettest Brutal race.

Travel
From London
The distance from Fleet Station to the event is 5.5 km. A return train from London is £16.70 and travel time is 53min, but not so good for a lift from fellow Brutal runners.
The distance from Aldershot Station to the event is 4 km and the return train from London is £16.50 the travel time is from 49 mins. And you have much more of a chance of thumbing a lift for the last 2.5 km with a simple Brutal sign as this is the main route in to the event.

Other information
Please note, for insurance purposes, we only allow those 13 years old and over to race.
If you are unable to race do not give your entry to another person. There are several reasons for this. 1. We need runners to sign our Terms and Conditions. 2. With incorrect emergency contact details we won't be able to inform family should an accident occur. 3. You will make the event's results incorrect and delay everyone receiving their finish times and places.
