Look up your number which will be against your surname on the registration boards and then inform the volunteer marshals at the Registration desk of that number. You'll be handed your race chip and number bib, then you're ready to go!
Free parking available for athletes and spectators.
The distance from Fleet Station to the event is 5.5 km. A return train from London is £16.20 and travel time is 53min, but not so good for a lift from fellow Brutal runners.
The distance from Aldershot Station to the event is 4 km and the return train from London is £16, the travel time is from 49 mins. And you have much more of a chance of thumbing a lift for the last 2.5 km with a simple Brutal sign as this is the main route in to the event.
A single lap route has a gentle run out to a steep climb, before heading up and out into the open through a quarry bed, heading for the first cooling marsh, through that and in quick succession its into Alligator Swamp, followed by Swan Lake. Drop down onto the Muddy Mile with two steep climbs then there is a view for many miles. Next heading for the Duck Pond and a wee bit more wet, onto a very steep short hill followed by a fast decent onto another couple of testing hills before heading back to the finish. This is our wettest Brutal race.
Chip timing is provided by Emit UK
First Aiders will be present at the start / finish.
Portable loos will be provided.
Water station at the half way point and the finish line.
Whilst this is a very wet course the water sections are all depth tested. The race course will never go through water deeper than waist height.
Please note, for insurance purposes, we only allow those 13 years old and over to race.
