This week Becky was allowed out of the Brutal HQ office to explore the Minley trails alongside Colin and Dave and Brutal fans Adam and Jason.
Here’s the recce report….
I had a great morning running with the Brutal crew and friends on the Minley course. Back in 2013 I participated in the event and remember having a great time, but this recce highlighted how awesome Brutal courses really are!
This event boasts a fantastic trail route which includes twisting single track, a few cheeky steep inclines, off trail sections through soft woodland leaf litter and even a bridge to scramble up and over! There’s also great scenery, so if you take the time to look around it’s well worth it (I did!).
The great thing about this course is it’s complete feasible for a Brutal newbie whilst providing a great technical challenge for the more experienced Brutaleer. It’s important to note that whilst I may appear to be bringing up the read in the majority of Dave’s photos this was because I didn’t want to crush the boy’s morale rather than a reflection of my running ability!!!
